That's typical middleclass response. We don't think that prisoners as a
section are citzen too and they deserve human rights.

I was not referring to [political] prisoners. I don't subscribe to such an
elitist  division .  No Deepak, it is not by lots, but through
constitutional structures such matters are decided. Jail Advisory committee
is a statutory body and their recommendations for releasing prisoners are
shelved by state and governer for quite some time.

It is not a question of asking for special privileges for political
prisoners.
Prisoners , just like war prisoners are under total state control and
deserve human rights..
