Greetings,
I was gonna post this question on the Forums at SJGames, but the website
doesn't seem to be responding.... so here goes.
When purchasing a leveled advantage with enhancements and limitations, do
you apply the modifiers to the per-level cost, round off, then take however
many levels? Or apply the modifiers to the per-level cost, buy up the
levels, then round off? Or do you buy up the levels, then apply the
modifiers?
For example:
Damage Resistance/20 (Force Field +20%, Super -10%)
Case A: DR per-level 5, +20%, -10% = 5.5 per-level = 6 per-level => 20
levels * 6 = 120
Case B: DR per-level 5, +20%, -10% = 5.5 per-level => 20 levels * 5.5 = 110
Case C: DR per-level 5 => 20 levels * 5 = 120, +20%, -10% => 110
Case C makes the most sense to me, as it's the least work, but it's
the same as B. The first case doesn't make any sense. consider if
it's just Damage Resistance, with the super restriction, and no
Forcefield enhancement. Then you get
Damage Resistance, 5 pt/lvl -10% = 4.5 pt/lvl. round up, and it costs
5 pt/lvl, the same as the unmodified version. That doesn't make
sense.
