first of all let me jump in here i want to go to we for a number of reasons
1 it seems to work with most things out of the box perfect example vista
jaws did not i know this i am a jaws user. 2 gw micros support is top and i
mean top noch i dont even have the product yet but what company has reps on
there own and i stress there own time answering emails? certainly not fs
also raul took the time when i had questions and issues with my script
central account to help me thank you sir for that now is we perfect does it
have everything i want no i would like to see scripts for yahoo and aol
messenger hopefully someone will invent them. however i have to ask myself
this do i want a company that says um we have no clue how to fix a problem
and are limited in resources and tech help or a company who honestly tries
to fix problems like gw micro appears to do this is why i will make the
switch so try to trouble shoot first

You are certainly entitled to your opinions and feelings. Have you given
us a call on the phone so we can try to work some issues you are having?
Have you tried various things to try and troubleshoot the problems? I seem
to remember back when 6.0 came out, you were one of the biggest posters
regarding the $150 cost because you personally didn't use Powerpoint and
you didn't think that paying $150 for Powerpoint was worth it. Just like
now you are saying that $175 is not worth scripting. If you go look at the
version history you will see that 6.0 added more than Power point, 6.1
added more than Vista even though it was free, and now 7.0 adds much more
than just scripting.
Back when 6.0 came out, I was not with GW Micro, but I would have easily
paid $150 for the upgrade. Why? Because of all the new stability, because
GW Micro is a business and they need the support to keep making an already
awesome product even better, and because it's customers who help along in
the long run.
Take care.

Hi Mike, for me 5.5 was the last good working version of we. 6.0 and 6.1
introduced many problems on the web, and many editing problems in all
Microsoft products. I guess just not so very happy with we any more,
with the 150 upgrade cost of 6.0/6.1 and the cost of this 1 for a
product that just isn't very good and now not so stable anymore I can't
justify it

Well, I can understand the hessitancy with 7.0 given numerous comments,
but why go back to 5.5.
And, as for 7.0, it seems that clean installs and updated scripts have
reduced the number of problems reported.
7.0 will work fine for 99.999% of users in the near term.
My relationship with God begins with trust.
It also continues in trust.
