strange. We had to do the exact opposite with our servers. We had an 8 core linux box and ended setting each server to its own processor (2 cores). A server would impact one core on a processor significantly, and then the overflow would jump into the second core of that processor. Can't remember exactly how we set it up, but this is what worked best for us. Since the topic is still L4D dedicated servers, are we expecting it to be released today or tomorrow? I know we were told "before" the demo comes out, but that's under 2 days away
