Ditto. I have been working from home for 5 years now, far more productive than I ever was in any office environment. We have team meetings I dial into, and those, along with the weekly status reports, let other people know what I am working on. If we need to have additional project related meetings (software or hardware upgrades) I dial into those. Email is available, and so is Skype.
