funny you mentioning the troutdale mcmenimens as the wife and i did a new years 
there before the kids came along. what a blast! all that great wine, bourbon, 
bubbly,  and the way cool establishment/history to go with it.  thanks for the 
tips. next time i drive to see the family i'll stop in to the dalles and give 
'em a sniff and a swirl.
