The MP3 thing was a joke, I should have clarified that. But really, when someone decides not to use the software anymore and gives it someone else they can now use it. Call Apple and Microsoft they will both tell you it is ok.
That is correct IF only ONE of the two people has the software installed. My point is that Phil had no way of knowing if the software had been un-installed from the previous owners computer(s), short of inspecting the computer(s) personally. He was thus TECHNICALLY at risk of being charged with piracy.
