Phil, even if you were given it, if the source did NOT complete wipe all drives of that software, then you are technically at risk for piracy. Somewhere in all the license gobbledegook, is something that could be used against you or anybody else. After all, that is what the "license agreements" are written; to make money for the big corporations and their shysters, and to make a poor innocent citizen like yourself as much trouble as they can. In this regard Apple is no different than Microsoft.
