Thanks for the info, Mike. That means I can give 10.3 to my brother to install, and then he can give it to our brother-in-law to install and HE can give it to me to install on another computer. After that I can give it to a friend to install who can give it to another friend, etc. Thank you for clarifying the situation and telling me how several people can install Panther using only 1 purchased copy.The MP3 thing was a joke, I should have clarified that. But really, when someone decides not to use the software anymore and gives it someone else they can now use it. Call Apple and Microsoft they will both tell you it is ok.
