Actually, it isn't a matter of you blocking access to port 25 (although that would 
account for the problem).  The problem is the remote ISP blocking access to port 25.  
Say I host web/mail for "somedomain.com", and the person who runs that domain uses 
MSN.  If they set up their mail server so that they send mail through my mail server, 
MSN will block it.
