That will have no effect on using another SMTP server from within a network!
All I need do is connect to the other SMTP server and I could use my mail
client (just set its SMTP sender to that host), to send (assuming the host I
connect to, will allow me to relay).
Jack,
You need to do something at a firewall or router, to block port 25 to all
IPs other than the ones used by the IMail Server. Then your users will not
be able to connect to other SMTP servers (unless they use a different
port!).
