Ah, I see. I never get a response at all from telnet. It just
times out from here for me (on 2 of my networks anyway). I
haven't tested from IMAIL directly.
I am suspicious because of my previous experience. My clients
really don't care about the technicalities - just want their mail
delivered.
The only work-around I know is to force an entry to the hosts
file but at least you can do that.
