We do not use a firewall. We do use a Foundry server iron that blocks all ports except those specifically required for the server function.

What type of firewall do you have, if any?

Subject: [IMail Forum] Email not being received

We are running Imail ver 7.13 with virus protection turned on.

What we have been seeing for some time is mail not always making it through. Some external clients have had to email us at Yahoo accounts because although we can email them their mail cannot consistantly get through to our server.

We have noticied that if we initiate an email to a client who is having problems and they reply it does get through. However if they initiate the email it fails. They do not receive any notification of failure the mail just falls into a black hole.

Has anyone else had a similar experience or solution?
