Seb is right, typo It sounds like you don't have a serial port connected, which is important for debugging.
If you connect a serial port, you will see something like this: sent arp request sent arp request sent arp request arp reply recieved! arp reply recieved! arp reply recieved! You should also see a LED blink on pin ping_d2 when sending ping via windows CMD screen. Matt.
