The differences are pretty small as the cards and drivers (except for
the NVIDIA drivers) are mostly the same.

Sparc and PPC versions of the lastest Java3D versions should be out
soon.  We don't have any Alpha machine.
The Sparc version isn't that interesting because DRI is only supported
for the Creator3D and a few PCI cards.
