Poor Dick. I find that just about everyone says something I disagree with every time they open their mouths. :)
But it's an interesting discussion. I was talking with some friends who are in the PHP kind of space. I was explaining how Java has probably the most advanced JIT ever and was explaining why it's so freekin' fast these days. This didn't seem to matter to them. Hello world still used 30 meg to start. And the criticism was that people generally write crap Java apps.
