so your saying, I need to dl this JRE and run it in order for Adobe 11 to work?
Would any of this have any barring on switching from IE 9 to IE 10? I have been told by the system from trying to dl another version of Adobe Reader, that it's already installed, but it does not open or anything. So, I need this JRE then, does that stand for Java registery entry or java run executable, just curious. Oh, and thanks for getting back to me on this matter.. If so, do you have the Java Runtime Environment installed on your computer? Some of these programs require it to run normally. It can be found at www.oracle.com/java. Pick the Java JRE to download. hth, Mike [email protected] -----Original Message----- From: Trish Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 6:36 AM To: Jaws Users List Subject: [JAWS-Users] Adobe Reader I need help please. I have installed Adobe 11 because when I tried to use Adobe 10.19 I got an error message saying this.. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C... This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. So now, when I installed 11 and try to open it, it just does nothing, it shows it's installed in programs/features, but I cannot get the program to open. I am using window's 7 and Jaws 15. *that error msg was on Adobe 10.19 not on 11 Thanks, Trish For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
