Damien I live and work in Enfield and the "riots" took place about half a mile from my front door. With regard to making things better for everyone our local council spends more than two thirds of it's budget on one part of the borough, there is massive investment by us , the mayor of London, central government, the EU and anyone else you care to mention. Despite that we still have a huge number of feral youth and ineffective parents who happily sit on every benefit under the sun, demand "Respect" and their "uman rights" at every turn and blame everything on everyone else Sent from my iPhone On 10 Aug 2011, at 01:26, Damian Walsh <[email protected]> wrote: > Lots of responses to lots of points - its much easier down the pub ;) > > First of all, Steve - I hope your wife is OK and its nothing serious. > > Then the Met and the mayor: no leadership, who is handling these "riots" > (looting without the rioting as far as we see from afar), Superindentants? > Divisional comanders?
