maybe they re not using plastic bullets because they dont want to risk killing kids? After all this did start by someone being shot by the police. tear gas wont kill anyone so maybe thats a better idea.
I note that quite a few people wants the army involved however I d say that putting the army against your own citizens is similar to a civil war in many respects. I understand these are riots but hey... Hence I agree this is a job for the police and not the army.
