English is the common language in the U.S.A. I think many Mexican
immigrants might be different than European immigrants in the sense
that many Mexican immigrants have made less of an effort to adopt
the existing culture of the U.S.A. Historically European immigrants
have been much more eager to adopt the culture than many Mexicans
who have immigrated to the U.S.A. have been. Historically for
example European immigrants have learned English which is the common
language.
