More than once I have seen statements made on this very blog to the
effect that all current world conflict is the result of US interference.

1. This is not a blog. It's a Yahoo group.
2. All messages to this group are archived. If you contend that such
statements have been made, then it's easy to prove -- just publish the
link/message number in which those statements are found.
As an anti-Iraq-war libertarian (sorry for the redundant but necessary
terminology), I'll be more than happy to stipulate that not all
current world conflict is the result of US interference.
Offhand:
- The ethnic conflicts in the Balkans have been going on since before
US existed. I continue to oppose US intervention in those conflicts,
but the notion that the US is responsible for them in the first place
is silly.
- I'm not aware of any substantial US interference in Sri Lanka which
could be said to have created the conflict between Sinhalas and Tamils
in Sri Lanka.
- The US did not partition India and Pakistan or dictate the
disposition of Kashmir.
Etc., etc., etc.
