Of course, little is asked of the recipients what THEY want. Even the forced sterilizations of Native women 1920's to 1970's was for their own good! According to privileged white folks trying to "Christianize" or "Americanize" the Natives. And such arrogance is hardly recognized by the providers (it is endemic to all government).
