Big Difference In The Time To Call Between These Two Methods? No. It depends upon what it is you're trying to do. As long as you know that both exist, know how to use both, just grab which ever one seems to work right. Sometimes it's easy to answer a simple question with too much information. I'm guessing you want just the above. A little more robust definition of the differences: SendAllSprites broadcasts the message to ALL SCRIPTS on ALL SPRITES. So if you have two scripts on one sprite which need to receive this message, this is good, but it could end up taking too long if you have a LOT of sprites/scripts (like 1000) and/or you are using a lot (like every exitFrame). SendSprite requires that you know which sprite number, but it gets broadcast to all scripts on that sprite. Call broadcasts the message only to the specified OBJECT(S). You have to know the object reference in order to call this. roymeo ----- Roy Crisman Senior Macromedia Programmer (716)724-4054 [EMAIL PROTECTED] [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/LUJ/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo.
