Think about KDE & GNOME projects. In some respects M$ products must try
to take some lessons. I'll be glad to discuss after 1 year. Just think to
jump from KDE 1.x to 2.x series. It's huge. M$ can't afford to spent such
many number of developers to improve their GUI & friendlines.

You're definitively wrong. Just think why many IrDA companies implemented
their stacks? Read why Miscrosoft abruptly dropped IrCOMM support in
W2000. They take things simply, and if someone don't like who cares?
Jean pointed some weeks ago and even I read this on M$ site.

Just go and use only Windows. Please forget about Linux and I'm personaly
sorry about your stress and lost time due to using Linux. It's time for you
to use only Windows. I read between your lines and feel furstration.
It's not sarcasm, really. Many people in the world
can't use too complicated systems. Yes, Unix world is very complicated.
I don't use Linux to impress my friends or consider ones using M$ products
as dummy. I'm not a dummy if can't make brain surgery, but I can take an
aspirine or more. These are just knowledge levels.
