Fedora really isn't a distro for someone who just wants things to work.
It tends to break frequently. Around November, for example, all
versions broke sound with various updates. It's still not really
working properly, and it's not helped when the developers close the bugs
saying, no, no it's a configuration issue. They're right, one can get
sound to work, but it's their default configurations that break it. :)
