Yeah - I've long since come to the conclusion that most people either
love Eva or hate it. (Chris: You're the first person I've ever "met"
who's actually not really on either end of that debate.) There's very
little middle ground there and I'm perfectly happy to disagree with
anyone who wants to do it respectfully. Unfortunately, I've ran into a
few of the rabid extremes on both ends of the spectrum and they BOTH
scare me!
As for the new Eva movies coming up, they're supposed to be yet
another reinterpretation of the show over 4 movies. I haven't seen
much yet on them, but I'll take a wait-and-see attitude as to how good
or bad they might be.
I suppose I'm in the middle ground, since I do like most of Evangelion,
just not the ending - or to be more precise, how underbudgeted the
ending seemed.
