Here's an example: Start an Ubuntu group in your city. To do that, start
by designing a flyer. Design it at a Global Jam. After you design it,
take to the streets and post a bunch of copies. After that's done, take
everyone to a pub, restaurant or someplace fun.

I'd like to see some stats on how many people began contributing to
Ubuntu as a result of a Global Jam.

In my experience, those who are already contributing are the ones most
likely to show up to a "let's build Ubuntu" event.

"End-user" is not a term that I accept. Do we really want an "us" and
"them" stance in Ubuntu? Is that consistent with our ethos?

Building (or making) excitement about Ubuntu, which is either unknown,
or misunderstood by most people in our cities is also an example.

Randall.
