Hi P.

Maybe we should discuss why MUK students are not using linux. After all this
is the LUG (not the AUG ;-)

When we went to the presentation of the third year students last year we saw a
lot of php/mysql applications. These just run and install much nicer on
linux. That, in a normal world, would be a benifit for the students.

As MUK is preparing students for the real world, and in the real world, php &
mysql applications run on linux & apache mostly, training students in that
setup is also not a bad idea.

Well, i am preaching for my own church (and the AUG guys) again.

Is there anything we can do to make that clear to MUK tutors & students?

rgds,
reinier
