I am on OS9, and my USB card works well with printer and camera.

The USB Support extension on Apple's site is still 1.4.1 when I checked
today.

Although BT says that my Mac is ok, Virgin broadband uses the same modem,
and specify a G3 with on board USB. So I am now pretty sure its to do with
me not having on board USB. But how can I get my pci USB card to be
recognised.

I can select the 'SpeedtouchUSB' in the Modem Control Panel Setup. But I
can't get it as an option under 'Connect via'.

This 'Connect via' list only says 'Printer Port' and 'Modem Port'.

I wonder of there is something which will make my pci USB card look like on
board USB to the Mac.
