I also have a 8600/250 running 9.2.2 courtesy of the OS9 Helper
application which also has a 2 port usb pci card. I'll try installing my
Speedtouch on that and see if I get a similar problem.
I don't use the Speedtouch as I switched to an ethernet modem/router
and I have tried the ethernet modem on the 8600 with no problem but not
the usb.
I'll get back shortly.....
