For me, speed isn't the issue. It's the fact that MacPerl and BBEdit
are two seperate applications, and you can't have both in front at the
same time. It makes it very difficult to kill a background app that's
out of control, and it means that I can't run interactive apps very
easily if I want to use BBEdit as my editor (which I do want to do).
