My primary wish list is very short:

 * that the tab works.

Secondary:

 * being able to jump to a specific line number.

If there's an error on line 171, I don't feel like counting.

All the rest is optional. (I'd think of brace matching, and syntax
highlighting. And no more 32k limit.)
