  I haven’t really commented on this thread as I’m one of the fortunate ones 
not to have had this bug thus far…touch wood. However I did fix the battery 
problems I was having after I updated to IOS 13 and above by pressing the 
volume up, quickly followed by the volume down and then pressing the side 
button and holding it pressed for about 15 seconds or until the apple logo 
appears on the screen if there is a sited person around to tell you.  All of 
the other suggestions I tried didn’t fix the drain on my battery, but rebooting 
the phone in the above way did. I haven’t read all of the messages in this 
thread either so sorry if this suggestion was given already.

    Hi,

    Do you have a Mac?  If so, you could restore from iTunes or from the Finder 
in Catalina.  If not, I believe that you'll need sighted assistance.  A simple 
restart might do the trick, but if that doesn't cut it, then a restore should, 
but of course you'll need to have sighted assistance if you can't get VO going.

morning, and could not replicate the problem while using the iPhone without

boys at Apple figure it out soon so that this can be eliminated.
