I've been opposed to a two state solution for better than a half century and in
favour of a democratic, secular Palestine from the river to the sea. I stated
that public opinion was mostly conditioned to support the two state solution,
and that Palestine solidarity activists had to take this into account in trying
to win mass support.

My criticism was in reply to what I considered a too strident and unfair
criticism of the movement which initiated this thread. I feel a greater
political kinship with its well-intentioned young activists than with some who
profess an allegiance to revolutionary Marxism outside of it.
