Personally, How do they get the oil to be magnetic without putting
magnetised metallic particles in it?

In an L16 (any na L series) it's hard to go past Castrol products (I'm
biased as they gave me some sponsorship $ 25 yrs ago) but GTX2 and anti
freeze anti boil are hard workers in a Datto.
