Alright so i have a 4 speed and want to get a 5 speed box. I have been told
that the options are a 5 speed Stanza dogleg box, and a Stumpy R30 skyline box.
What does this dogleg and stumpy mean? And i have no mechanical skills so i
will have to pay someone to install it. My mates family own a garage and his
dad said it would take 5 hours labour to install it @$60 per hour, so $300. But
tonight i talked to my mums friend who said changing gearboxes is a piece of
piss and it takes only about an hour but they will charge me for 3 hours. What
should it cost in to put in, and how long does it take? And david how much are
you selling your stanza gearboxes for and where are you located?
