Richard,
Most
serious carbie businesses had a set of +.05mm jet reamers, they just looked like
drill bits to me but you could get jets modified from 1mm up to 2mm. I've had
some jets reamed over the years but the problem is identifying them. I drilled a
dimple in the side of them to indicate they .05 over what was printed on them.
The idea of soldering jets up didn't occur to me.
