The CA18DET has 1.77" diameter connecting rod journals, so an L20b
crankshaft (1.96" journals) to give 1861cc would need the block clearancing.
SR20DET would also give 1861cc. An FJ20 crankshaft would actually DEstroke
the motor (80mm stroke) and give 1731cc. CA20 crankshaft would give 1904cc.
My 2 cents though: it would be much easier to wind the wick up on the turbo
and leave the bottom end alone. CA18DET's are not weak motors!
