1) Yes, with the same mods needed as per L20b block
2) Yes (Errol differs but my Z18ET turbo manifold bolted right onto a Z20E head with no mods)
3) There are small differences in valve and port size between models
4) If you used Z20E rods you'd need custom forged pistons of about 27mm in compression height and about a 15cc dish to get 9:1.  Strength might be an issue at a smaller height or larger dish than that?  Ask the piston mob.  It would probably be easier to use L20b conrods and get them to copy Z24 pistons but with a bigger dish, in whatever bore diameter you want to take the block out to.

Subject: Z series questions

was just wondering a few things about Z series motors

#1 will the Z24 crank go in the Z20 block?

#2 will the Z18ET manifolds bolt up to the Z20 head?

#3 out of the Z18, z20 and z24 heads, is there any particular one that flows better?

#4 assuming the z24 crank fits, what pistons and rods would I use? Z20 rods and pistons?  not really worried about final compression ratio cause I will be getting forgies made up so I'll get them made with a little less compression if need be, just wondering which pistons I should get them to copy

Thanks guys n girls

Dave
