(Errol differs but my Z18ET turbo manifold bolted right onto a Z20E head with no
mods)

There are small differences in valve and port size between
models
4) If
you used Z20E rods you'd need custom forged pistons of about 27mm in compression
height and about a 15cc dish to get 9:1. Strength might be an issue at a
smaller height or larger dish than that? Ask the piston mob. It
would probably be easier to use L20b conrods and get them to copy Z24 pistons
but with a bigger dish, in whatever bore diameter you want to take the block out
to.
