Plug up the hole(s) in the air cleaner that is. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Terry Rudd Sent: Friday, 1 February 2002 7:05 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: god bless webers!!!!!
Andrew, It doesn't help detonation if there's any sort of oil vapour coming out of the rocker. Get a redline filter from Autopro, not exy and give it a try. You could test if the breather is contributing to detonation beforehand just by disconnecting the breather from the air cleaner and plug up the hole(s) and go for a quick blast, don't leave the breather hose unfiltered for long though as it will create a fair sort of mess in very quick time. regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Andrew Greenbury Sent: Friday, 1 February 2002 11:50 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: god bless webers!!!!! Hi Listers Funnily enough you mention this Terry - after yesterday's discussion I checked out where my breathers were connected, and the previous owner has connected the rocker cover breather to the air filter assy before the carby... Think it could be causing detonation probs?! --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
