Thanks Terry, Oil not lasting as long is an interesting side effect - would this be eliminated if you fitted the PCV valve?
Have I got the rules straight that your system would still not be legal if you did have the PCV fitted? Sorry for all the questions - I am trying to evaluate my options for crank breather systems. I have a theory that oil fumes may be lowering the effective detonation point on my L18, and so wanted to try out a different crank breather to see if it fixes it, but also want it to be legal and somewhat environmentally friendly :) btw, latest zoom has an article on crank breather systems - anyone read it?
