hi, i can tellya now that a burnt chiip  will never be as good as a programmable  (wolf, microtech etc ) efi setup...

i was looking at actually  reprogramming the  holden commodore chips.
there is a place in america called  "tunercat" that deals with this. they even had listed the australian v8 ,1988 commodore!!!!!  but to re do others you need to get a dump of the file you want to change. as far as i remember you need a eprom programmer  (100-dollars  australian and up) and  a cable i think that tuner cat do. they also have  the software.  might be worth a look at their site.
they zalso do heaps of other cars  also.

Listers,
Has anyone experienced a modified v6 commodore engine, as in do they go? and how hard?. Im not talking about extractors+chip+filter, but hi compression (say 10:1)ish, cam , headwork , bigger injectors? etc. Now i know a guy who burns chips to suit factory holden computers to suit the partuicular cars modifications, how does this compare to say a wolf 3d?

    Any ideas?
