what u can do is, disconect the battery, leave ign in  the on position,  AND TURN EVERY THING ON .leave it for a 1 hour or so.
well this is what  one guy done and it   worked , but it was on a vn-vp v8.if there is any  voltage stored (capacitors etc..)  by turning  everthing on, uses all the electricity. then it has to reset it self.
 
this might not be a high teck way, but a guy this exact same thing, cause his  car was running funny, and after this , it was normal.....
