Thanks Andrew, I must admit that I put a bit of time and effort into that post as it is important to get that sort of modification right.
It's easy to check if you have the prop valve installed, just follow both of the lines from the master and see if they both go to a 1" or so diameter and 2.5 - 3" long alloy or cast (usually painted a very pale green) cylinder looking thing (with arrows & F & R raised letters on it to indicate flow direction) and then the lines go off to the respective front and rear connector blocks that look like they're made out of brass. It sounds like you may have one fitted as neither of the stock distribution blocks are mounted on the strut tower and a prop valve usually is. regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Andrew Greenbury Sent: Monday, 3 June 2002 12:11 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: Brake Booster Terry, This post and the other one outlining all the different/common combos is an excellent summary. A quick look at my car appears that someone has performed the work you outlined, so I'll use your info to check they did it right :) I have 240k twins/standard drums/boosted and 7/8" but one thing I dont know is if a prop valve has been used or not. What I thought was the prop valve is the lower block (RH suspension tower) from your description. Gonna have to compare to a 180B next time I see one :) Thanks Andrew --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
