I f$#kin reckon.  When I wrecked my old rally car, I had a Holley blue lying
around and stuck it on my 1600 street car.  God damn, the only way to get
around the noise is to turn the stereo up a bit.  Incidently I checked the
flow rating and come to the conclusion that you would need some serious
horsepower to even try to outflow the pump!  I noticed a rotary with
something like 500kW at the flywheel using one as a surge tank pump, so I
guess I've got some flow capacity still left in it yet ;-)  Mine is now
running as my surge tank pump and until I have enough spare dough to buy
something quiter I will be stuck with it!  They are reliable though, mine
seized once, so I simply pulled the rotor/stator apart and cleaned it out,
never had any trouble since!
