Richard,

You do find Japanese car bits at the bigger swap meets eg Bendigo, Ballarat
etc in Vic and Goulburn in NSW but it's usually wheels and trim bits - I
must admit it's a bit of a lottery and I only ever go to them for the
experience. I think we still are the best resource for finding that hard to
get part. I went to the local wreckers yesterday with a shopping list and
found everything I was after except the little black round thingy -
bakelite ignition switch holder. If anyone has a spare one lying around give
me a should (for a '70 model). I think the non-locking 1200 ignition switch
is the same. I've got my ignition switch gaffa'd in place at the moment -
not the best of looks.

regards
terry

Mal

The SU's are getting very hard to find, but they turn up fairly regularly in
our local Trading Post newspaper.

Speaking of stuff that's hard to find, anyone know of any "swap meets" that
specialise in bits for Japanese cars? The only swap meets I've been to are
full of Holden Ford and US stuff, nothing I'm interested in. Where are all
the hot parts for old Jap cars swapped or sold?

If there aren't any maybe we had better kick one off - what about a Datto
swap meet? (perhaps Toyota also?)
