acutally i do know a bit about it......but what i know has been put into a formula ford engine....which is currently the most powerful in the field.....so i dont really wanna say much :)

I would try to find a book on the subject, maybe a detailed engine building book could help.
But like Ben says, anyone who has hit on anything really useful is probably keeping it to themselves.

    yes shape is a factor......just dont ask me what shape, as any decent engine
    builder wont give away his secrets (no not me the engine builder, just the
    people i have talked to wont give me their secrets :P )
