The old sigma turbo setup used an external wastegate. They use a v-band outlet
for the exhaust.Ive got an external wastegate t3 that uses a 4 bolt outlet which
is used by garrett for there T31 interstate truck range. They use this with a t31
turbine wheel and T04e comp wheel and housing. There is also another version that
has the T4 bolt pattern and larger exhaust inlet but it uses a T3 turbine
wheel.Ive seen an internal wastegated T4 on a rota a while back. But generally
most t3's are internal wastegated.
