how 'warm' the motor is
intercooler is a must and one extra injector just
isn't gunna cut it
this things going to be seeing BIG revs and
stratospheric boost levels I really wanna make sure I've got the spark sorted
because I'm not going the megalow compression route most people planning on
running big boost go, so tuning is going to be of absolute importance.
Wanna get the best ignition system I can so I can get the car as fine tuned as
possible

the factory Z18T dizzy is fine after you sort
out the two sets of pionts.and which one is the main set then advance the
other set.
If you want to get it moving fit a intercooler
and water sprayers this does wounders.Plus lag all the pipes.
You can also add anther injector in the inlet

just wondering what the best ignition setup
for a warm Z18ET would be? I've heard mention of using a modified FJ20DET
dizzy? what other options are there? How would I go about removing the
dizzy all together and using coil packs? Is that the best way to
go?
also if anyone has read the article on the
Z18ET bluebird on autospeed (http://www.autospeed.com/A_0427/P_1/article.html)
it says the hole for the standard dizzy was blocked off and an RX7 S4
dizzy was used instead...if the hole was blocked up, where did they put
the RX7 dizzy?
Sorry if these questions sound kinda basic,
I've never had any experience modifying ignition setups, always just had
it done for me. But on my new car I wanna do everything that I possibly
can myself.
