Jet fuel is NOT 1.84 a gallon. Retail average in the US right now is in this
chart by a very reputable survey:

When I was flying the Mitsubishi Propjet, I was driving my 1987 300TD.  I
ran it on jet fuel in emergencies, and it ran just fine.



Jet fuel is basically super purified kerosene for the most part.
